Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
Manage food preparation stations, including marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients for optimal flavor
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure perfect results every time
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and serve timely, high-quality dishes
Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredients and notifying management of supply needs
Serve guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing excellent customer service when required

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety regulations
Hands-on experience with meal preparation on a grill or open flame preferred
Familiarity with culinary techniques related to grilling, seasoning, and presentation
Previous restaurant experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and guest service

Pay: £12.71-£15.71 per hour
