Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Secretary/Accounts professional to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative excellence with accounting expertise, ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a strong understanding of accounting software and financial processes. Your energy and enthusiasm will drive efficiency across daily tasks, supporting our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities

Manage all administrative duties including scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and maintaining filing systems to ensure seamless office operations.
Prepare, review, and process invoices, receipts, and financial documents with precision and attention to detail.
Maintain accounts payable records, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping using accounting software Sage.
Reconciling bank statements and managing petty cash to ensure financial accuracy.
Generating reports, tracking expenses, and updating financial records regularly.
Coordinate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and payment statuses.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
Taking and processing orders from customers.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software Sage is essential for managing financial transactions efficiently.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and general ledger management.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills for liaising with customers and clients.
Attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving ensures accuracy in all tasks.

Pay: £26,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
