Hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm, Friday 9:00am–4:00pm

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Accounts Senior or Semi-Senior to join our supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT Level 3 qualified or part-qualified ACCA professional looking to broaden their experience, take ownership of client relationships, and develop their career within a respected and growing firm.
Working closely with the Director and Associate, yyou will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients and play an important role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience within practice, develop your technical skills, and build strong client relationships.
The Role
You will support the Director and Associates in delivering accounting and tax services to a varied portfolio of clients, while working closely with other members of the team on a range of assignments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the preparation and finalisation of statutory accounts
- Preparing business and personal tax computations
- Preparing and reviewing accounts and supporting working papers for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, including Making Tax Digital compliance
- Liaising with clients by phone, email and in person to obtain information and resolve queries
- Attending client meetings and occasional on-site visits
- Bookkeeping and cloud accounting support
- Working with leading accounting software including IRIS, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
- Supporting the Resident Partner and Associate with a variety of client assignments and advisory work
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- AAT Level 3 qualified or part-qualified ACCA
- Experienced in practice accountancy (preferred)
- Organised, reliable and adaptable
- Numerate with excellent attention to detail
- A confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Able to manage workloads effectively and work independently when required
