Your role as a structured cabling engineer is crucial to our business growth. You will be a trusted, hard-working, and dedicated member of our team, capable of working both independently and collaboratively on a variety of cabling installations throughout the Northwest and beyond.

Requirements:

At least 5-Years’ Copper & Fibre Optic Cable Installation Experience
At least 5-Years’Containment Installation Experience (Tray, Basket, Conduit & Trunking
Hand Tools
Drivers License
CSCS/ECS
IPAF
Customer Facing with Good Communication Skills

Duties and Responsibilities

On-site installation, testing and termination of CAT 6a Data Cabling & Fibre Optic Cabling.
On-site installation, of Containment, which may include Tray Work, Basket, Conduit and PVC trunking.
Installation of Server Cabinets, Network Equipment, Wireless Access Points
Assisting with Network Migrations / Cutovers
Taking Images and Documenting Your Work – Uploading to Our Online Platform using your Smart-Phone

Desired

Further Skills & Experience:

Ability to read architectural drawings
Excellent understanding of health and safety practice
Experienced in the setting up, use and understanding of the results from a Fluke DSX8000/5000 or similar test equipment.
Experience with the safe and correct use of ladders and other access equipment
Experience with the correct and safe use of power tools
English Language (written and verbal) to a GCSE level or equivalent as you should be able to demonstrate good communication skills, written, over the phone and
face to face.
No criminal record

Pay: From £22.50 per hour
