Full job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator at AGM Forbes Ltd soft fruit farm in Angus.

You will be responsible for providing all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring that full compliance is followed.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and pro-active Payroll Administrator, to process weekly payroll and support management in general office administration.

Key Responsibilities

· Processing weekly payroll for 40 + employees

· Support the Fruit Manager with any office administration

· Ensure compliance with relevant employment and tax laws

· Address any payroll queries from employees in a timely manner

· Maintain and update the employee database, ensuring integrity and confidentially

· Answering telephone calls and dealing with emails

Experience

· Previous experience in a payroll administrator role, with a strong understanding of payroll/pension processes and administration skills

· Completing and collating information for red tractor and Leaf paperwork, experience preferred but not essential

· Experience using Sage 50 payroll

Skills

· Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy and precision

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively and meet deadlines

· Strong communication skills with the ability to handle employee queries

· Ability to identify payroll discrepancies and take corrective actions as needed
