Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Night Porter to provide exceptional guest services during overnight hours at our prestigious hotel in. The successful candidate will ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests and premises, maintaining a welcoming and professional environment throughout the night. Duties
- Welcome and assist guests arriving during night hours, providing a warm and professional service.
- Manage basic night duties like set up lobby, set up the bar, set up for mor. b/fast in restaurant & other areas of set-up with cleaning activities as per basic & standard hotel procedures.
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries via phone or in person or offering assistance to basic requirements if required.
- Conduct regular security checks of the hotel premises to ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Monitor & prevent any unauthorised entry.
- Handle any guest complaints or issues with tact and professionalism, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of overnight activity and incidents.
- Perform light administrative tasks such as logging messages or updating guest information as required.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area during your shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel night porter or front desk or guest services roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Basic phone etiquette and communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service will be advantageous.

Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
