Job description

We are looking for both a Full time and Part time receptionist to join our team

Full time (37.5 hours) Monday - Friday

Part Time (22.5 hours) Monday, Thursday and Friday

We are offering a competitive salary of £13.85 per hour.

We aim to deliver high-quality care to our patients, and you will be central to this as the front of house staff, often being the first point of contact.

Both of our practices are training practices for GP registrars and medical students.

Experience

2 years' GP receptionist experience preferred. However, we also welcome applications from individuals with strong transferrable skills, excellent customer service and a genuine passion for delivering high quality patient care.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Receptionists to join our friendly, patient-focused team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing professional and efficient front-of-house support.

Key Responsibilities

Manage patient enquiries in person and by phone.
Book and update appointments accurately.
Register new patients and maintain records.
Support clinicians and admin staff with daily tasks.
Keep reception areas clean, safe and welcoming.

This list is not exhaustive.

About You

2 years' GP receptionist experience preferred
GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths.
Confident using IT systems and medical software.
Calm, caring and organised with great communication skills.

2 GP Partners, 17 salaried GPs, 2 Nurses, 2 Clinical Pharmacists and 1 Link Worker
