We are a well established independent bodyshop looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our expanding workshop for our commercial repair side.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 Years experience of working in a VDA role, preferably with commercial vehicles and must have excellent knowledge of repair processes and methods. This is not an entry level job and required experience is essential
Job Role:
- Assess damaged vehicles and create an accurate estimate ensuring correct repair methods are followed.
- Ensuring Bodyshop management system is accurate
- Reviewing jobs at the end of repairs for final authority.
- Liase with Insurance engineers and customers.
- Monitor repairs and ensure correct methods are followed.
- Update Insurance engineer/customer if supplimentary repairs are required.
- HGV/Commercial estimating experience is an advantage
Required:
- Proven knowledge of Audatex or GT Motive
- 3 years VDA experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and achieve deadlines
- A high level of accuracy and ability to multi-task
Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm.
Wages are negotiable and depending on experience.
