£30,000–£50,000 per year
Full-time employed role | Stoke-on-Trent, Leek and Ashbourne
Please note: We cannot provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship or any other form of UK work sponsorship. You must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK, now and in the future.
You have qualified as a Physiotherapist. Now choose a path that can turn it into the career you imagined.
You may have expected to graduate, move into a Band 5 role and begin building your career.
Instead, you may be competing for limited graduate posts, considering Band 4 work simply to get into the system or waiting years for the right Band 6 opportunity.
Even once inside the NHS, long waiting lists, rigid pathways, red tape and service pressure can make it difficult to deliver the care you believe someone needs.
You may assess a client, provide a small number of appointments and discharge them—then never see them again. You rarely get to follow their complete journey or see the lasting impact of your work.
At Team Peak, we offer a different route.
A five-year pathway into private MSK practice
We develop Physiotherapists into confident, competent private MSK clinicians through a structured five-year coaching and development pathway.
This is not a rotational hospital post or a role where care is restricted by waiting-list pressure and short-term pathways.
You will develop in:
- MSK assessment and differential diagnosis
- Anatomy, pathology and clinical reasoning
- Manual therapy and joint mobilisation
- Grade 5 manipulation
- Clear client communication and care recommendations
- Managing clients through complete care plans
- Working confidently within shorter appointments
- Building a successful long-term client list
You will receive structured onboarding, weekly training, practical coaching, observation and direct feedback.
You will also receive extensive development in manual therapy, joint mobilisation and Grade 5 manipulation as part of your working week—not through a single course followed by unsupported practice.
Private practice gives you the continuity to guide clients through their full care plan, review their progress and see the difference your work makes over time. Instead of discharging someone and never knowing what happened next, you can build lasting clinical relationships and share in the outcome.
You do not need to arrive as the finished private clinician. You do need to be open to coaching, willing to practise and prepared to take responsibility for your development.
Rather than waiting for a vacancy to determine your next step, you will know what you are working towards and what is required to progress.
The five-year pathway is not the end point. It is the foundation of a long-term private-practice career, with increasing responsibility, earning potential, mentoring and leadership opportunities beyond it.
Build a secure and well-paid private career
You will start on a guaranteed salary of £30,000, with an established flow of clients and no requirement to bring your own following.
As your confidence, client list and performance grow, our structured commission scheme creates realistic earnings of up to £50,000.
You can focus on becoming a better clinician, delivering complete care plans and seeing the impact of your work rather than waiting for the next band or trying to build a private diary alone.
Who will thrive here?
This role will suit someone who is:
- Calm, conscientious and dependable
- Open to coaching and direct feedback
- Comfortable following clear systems
- Prepared to take responsibility for their performance
Team Peak is a high-support, high-accountability environment.
We will train, observe, coach and challenge you. In return, we expect you to apply what you learn and take ownership of your development.
