Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal presentation and availability of products across various retail outlets. This role requires a proactive approach to stock management, visual merchandising, and collaboration with supply chain teams to meet organisational objectives. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in retail operations, logistics, and supply chain management within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Organise and maintain product displays to maximise visual appeal and sales potential in accordance with company standards.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse or supply chain teams to replenish inventory as needed, utilising ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement, cleanliness, and compliance with branding guidelines.
Collect data on sales trends and customer preferences to inform future merchandising strategies.
Collaborate with store managers and supply chain personnel to ensure timely delivery of stock and minimise out-of-stock situations.
Assist in planning promotional activities and seasonal displays to enhance product visibility.
Maintain accurate records of stock movements, orders, and merchandising activities using relevant ERP systems.

Skills

Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is essential for efficient stock management.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics coordination.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of presentation and compliance.
Ability to analyse sales data and adapt merchandising strategies accordingly.
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
