Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Post Office Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our community! Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service for all postal needs
Process mail and package transactions accurately using standard procedures
Assist customers with purchasing postage, mailing options, and product inquiries
Manage inventory of mailing supplies and merchandise, ensuring shelves are well-stocked
Upsell additional services such as insurance, tracking, or retail products to enhance customer satisfaction
Maintain clear communication with team members to coordinate daily tasks effectively
Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information and directing calls appropriately
Organize the workspace efficiently to support quick service delivery and maintain cleanliness

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Time management skills to prioritize duties effectively throughout the shift
Knowledge of merchandising principles to assist with product displays and inventory management
Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or in person
Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse communities
