Full job description

One Ashford Hospital, part of the Phoenix Hospital Group, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Inpatient Physiotherapist to join our friendly team at our Ashford Hospital.

Please note: this is a FlexiBank role working on an 'as and when required' basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during periods of annual leave or absence.

Reporting to the Physiotherapy Manager the successful applicant will assist in the provision of therapy services for elective orthopaedic and general surgery inpatients to meet the needs of the service (e.g. AL cover / sickness).

Shifts: Saturdays and Sundays as and when required.

Qualifications / Key Selection Criteria

Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent
Minimum 12 months experience in hospital setting
Post graduate rotations to include orthopaedics
Registered with the HCPC

Experience

Experience of assessing diagnosing and treating a range of orthopaedic patients/cases
Working with multi-disciplinary teams
Experience of independently managing case loads

Desirables

Private healthcare experience
Post graduate experience as a physiotherapist across a range of specialties
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
