B2B Sales Executive

What does your role involve?

The Outbound B2B Sales Agent is for our Tenant Shop brand and is responsible for making high volumes of outbound calls to prospective business customers from company-provided data to sell business broadband and mobile products.

The role involves speaking with business decision makers, identifying sales opportunities, understanding customer requirements, presenting suitable products and services, handling objections and closing sales. The Outbound B2B agent will accurately record customer information and call outcomes within the CRM system, maintain product knowledge and work towards individual sales, quality and activity targets.

What are your main responsibilities?

Make high volumes of outbound calls to prospective business customers from company-provided data.
Sell business broadband and mobile solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.
Engage with business owners and other key decision makers to identify their telecommunications requirements.
Build rapport quickly and confidently present the features and benefits of products and services.
Handle objections effectively and use appropriate sales techniques to maximise conversion opportunities.
Achieve individual sales, activity and quality targets.
Accurately record customer information, call outcomes and sales activity within the CRM system.
Ensure all sales are completed in line with company policies, compliance requirements and quality standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, promotions and competitor activity.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to support the achievement of team and business objectives.
Deliver a professional and positive customer experience on every interaction.
Undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role.

What experience, knowledge and qualifications will you need?

A minimum of 2 years of B2B outbound telesales experience.
Proven experience of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a target-driven environment.
Experience selling products or services over the telephone.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Strong objection handling, negotiation and closing skills.
Competent IT skills, including experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
Knowledge of the UK telecommunications market and business is desired.
Understanding of FCA, GDPR or other relevant compliance requirements.
