Painter – Band 6 (Facilities Management and Building Services)
Hours: 08:00 – 16:30
Contract: Temporary Contract until 30 November 2026
Location: Unit 3, Middlefields Industrial Estate, NE34 0NT
Rate: PAYE £16.62 per hour
Work Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, 8:00–16:30
We're recruiting a Painter to support facilities management and building services. This is a key role for experienced professionals with strong painting and decorating skills, carrying out redecoration works in void properties and ensuring high-quality finishes and safe working practices.
About the Role:
As a Painter, you'll carry out redecoration works in void properties, prepare and paint internal areas to a high standard, and apply anti-mould treatments where required. You will work safely in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and complete tasks independently or as part of a team.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking experienced painters with proven painting and decorating skills and the ability to work safely in property maintenance environments. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in painting and decorating
- Experience carrying out property redecoration work
- Ability to work safely and follow site procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Suitable PPE, including a high-visibility jacket and safety shoes
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Experience working on void properties
- Experience applying anti-mould treatments
- Previous experience in facilities management or local authority environments
