Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/woman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role requires a versatile individual with a broad skill set in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and other trades. Duties
- Conduct repairs and maintenance across various property types, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Perform construction painting and masonry work as needed to enhance property aesthetics and structural integrity.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Fabricate custom solutions or components using appropriate materials and techniques.
- Install or replace fixtures, fittings, and structural elements with precision.
- Troubleshoot issues promptly and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain organised work areas and report on completed tasks or ongoing projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or related trades.
- Competence in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, etc., as well as power tools including drills, saws, grinders, etc.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques for creating customised parts or solutions.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or plans is advantageous.
- Previous experience working independently or as part of a team in maintenance or construction roles is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or licences in trades such as electrical or plumbing are desirable but not essential.

Pay: £13.20-£22.85 per hour
