Skilled Fabricator
RENOWN GROUP has an immediate permanent position for skilled fabricators working within the Renown Group of companies.
The role will involve:
- Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances and deadlines.
- Fabricating components from 3mm to 50mm steel section & plate
- Operating MIG welding equipment
- Operating overhead cranes to assist with the assembly
- Working alone or as part of a team
- Working overtime when required
- Working shifts when required
All applicants must be competent operating all the following. If you do not meet all of these requirements you will not be considered:
- Operating sheet metal equipment such as press tools / guillotine etc.
- Operating MIG welding equipment
- The ability to mark out and fabricate without fixtures

The following skills are desirable but not essential.
- TIG welding
- Fork Lift licence
- First Aid Training
All successful applicants shall be means tested prior to employment.
Dayshift - 4 day working week.
Mon-Thurs 7am till 16.45pm.
