Road Sweeper

Due to our continued growth, we are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers to join our team at our Hickstead depot. Main duties include mainly operating Mechanical Road Sweepers but also there will also be opportunities to drive other vehicles including Tankers and Hook lift vehicles working throughout the Southeast on a varied client list.

If you believe you have the skills and a positive attitude to help us continue to grow, we want to hear from you.

Hours of work will be 50 hours, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime and weekend work paid at competitive rates. There are also opportunities for permanent night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating one of our many specialist vehicles at customer sites/areas collecting various waste streams from locations throughout the South East.
Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks
Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily in accordance with company policy.
Complying with all traffic laws and legislation.
Exceeding our customers’ expectations.

What are we looking for?

Class C (Cat C). If you are newly qualified, we also want to hear from you as we can support your development.
Up to date DCPC – We can also support your training.
Digital Tacho Card
