Join a Fast-Growing Food Supplement Manufacturer
We are an established UK food supplement manufacturer producing high-quality products for some of the UK's leading Amazon brands, major independent supplement companies, and our own successful range of nutritional supplements.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Quality Control & Nutrition Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for nutrition, food supplements and product compliance who enjoys working across a varied role combining quality, technical support, product development and marketing.
The Role
You'll work closely with our production, technical and marketing teams to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with supplement formulations and product specifications.
- Coordinating third-party laboratory testing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Producing nutritional information panels for product packaging and online listings.
- Ensuring product labels and cartons display accurate nutritional information in accordance with current UK food labelling legislation and manufacturer specifications.
- Reviewing and maintaining Amazon listings and website content to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Responding to technical product and nutrition-related enquiries from customers and clients.
- Communicating with clients regarding formulations, specifications and product information.
- Supporting quality control processes and maintaining accurate product records.
- Keeping up to date with developments in nutrition, food supplements and emerging industry trends.
- Assisting with the development of new products and existing product improvements.
- Providing technical input and ideas for our social media channels and educational content where appropriate.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and has a genuine interest in nutrition and the food supplement industry.
Ideally, you will have:
- A qualification in Nutrition, Food Science or a related discipline, or previous experience working within the food supplement industry.
- A good understanding of food supplements and nutritional ingredients.
- Knowledge of UK food labelling legislation and regulatory requirements (or a willingness to learn).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills.
- Confidence communicating with both clients and colleagues.
Desirable
- Previous experience working for a supplement manufacturer or supplement brand.
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central or e-commerce product listings.
- Understanding of MHRA, Trading Standards and UK food supplement regulations.
- Experience producing nutritional panels or reviewing product artwork.
- An interest in health, fitness and sports nutrition.
