We are currently seeking a highly experienced, hands-on, and skilled Event Operations Manager to join our team.
As Event Operations Manager, you'll lead from the front in delivering exceptional, large-scale and bespoke events across the estate. From high-profile conferences to luxury private dining experiences, you'll ensure seamless execution and exceptional standards at every stage, while driving innovation, efficiency, and team performance.
Working at the heart of the operation, you'll take full ownership of Conference Banqueting and Private Dining delivery; leading, inspiring and developing your team, while collaborating closely with colleagues across the estate to ensure every experience is delivered to perfection.
The on target earning potential for this role is £53,363 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £45,063, plus a qualified estimate of £8,300 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

- Leading the flawless execution of a diverse portfolio of luxury events, from intimate private dining experiences to large-scale conferences, weddings, and bespoke celebrations. Ensuring every event is delivered with exceptional attention to detail, operational excellence, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations at every stage of the journey
- Taking full ownership of our Private Dining and Conference Banqueting operations, setting and maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest engagement. - Driving innovation and continuous improvement across our event and dining experiences, identifying opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction, optimise operational efficiency, and introduce creative service concepts that reinforce Gleneagles' position as a world-leading luxury destination

- Collaborating seamlessly with Culinary, Events Planning, and wider Estate teams, ensuring a unified approach to service delivery; building strong cross-functional partnerships that enable the successful execution of complex events and create memorable, world-class guest experiences
- Providing strategic oversight of event planning and operational delivery through BEO and pre-event meetings, ensuring all departments are aligned, informed, and prepared. Driving clear communication, meticulous planning, and flawless execution to guarantee exceptional outcomes
- Maintaining robust control of departmental resources, including team deployment, equipment utilisation, inventory management, and budget performance; balancing operational excellence with commercial awareness to maximise efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Serving as a senior operational contact for guests and clients, confidently managing high-profile events, complex requests, and service recovery situations. Always demonstrating professionalism, sound judgement, and a solutions-focused approach to consistently deliver positive outcomes
- Building and nurturing influential relationships across the estate, creating strong alignment between departments and fostering a collaborative culture. Championing communication, shared accountability, and consistency of standards to ensure every guest experience reflects the Gleneagles Way
- Driving strong financial performance across event operations, maintaining full accountability for payroll control, productivity, cost management, and departmental profitability. Maximise revenue opportunities through strategic upselling, effective resource planning, and commercial decision-making while consistently delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Cultivating trusted relationships with clients, guests, and key stakeholders, acting as a confident and professional ambassador for Gleneagles. Build rapport through clear communication, attention to detail, and proactive engagement, ensuring every event is delivered seamlessly and exceeds expectations from initial planning through to execution
- Championing the Gleneagles Way by delivering intuitive, personalised, and anticipatory service, empowering teams to recognise and respond to guest needs before they arise. - You have extensive experience within luxury Conference Banqueting, Events, or Hospitality operations, with a fantastic record of delivering complex, high-profile events to the highest standards. With exceptional attention to detail, you have the operational expertise, and the ability to coordinate logistics, resources, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and memorable guest experiences
