Senior Planning Officer
£39,862 - £42,839 per annum
Scale PO3, 37 hrs per week Permanent

You’ll be the lead officer for major, high-profile planning applications, including strategic sites coming forward as part of our new Local Plan. You’ll work at the heart of a holistic, co-located team of expert consultees, all dedicated to delivering excellent planning outcomes.

We’re looking for someone with:

Proven experience in managing major planning applications and presenting cases to formal legal Inquiries.
Detailed knowledge of dealing with Planning applications and Section 106 Agreements and sound working knowledge of Development Management, including local, regional and national policies and priorities.
Excellent and proven time management skills
A passion for place-making and sustainable development
The ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with stakeholders
