Full job description

Location: Main Bakery, Hatters Lane, Chipping Sodbury

Working Hours:

We’re looking for two Bakery Assistants to join our team — one working our morning shift and one working our afternoon. The shift patterns are outlined below. Please let us know which shift you’re applying for in your application.

AM shift: 4:00am–12:00pm
PM shift: 12:00pm–8:00pm

Both shifts include Saturday and one weekday off each week, with the weekday to be confirmed.

The role

As part of our bakery team, you’ll play an important role in producing the high-quality bread our customers know and love. You’ll work across our roll and bread production areas, seeding rolls, assisting with the roll plant, weighing ingredients accurately, and cutting and preparing bloomers. You’ll also provide support to our Gluten Free production team when required.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in what they do, communicates openly and effectively, and brings a positive attitude to the team. You’ll be expected to follow our high standards, and above all, you’ll demonstrate the values of Hobbs House Bakery in everything you do, contributing to our mission of‘Higher Quality, Positive Impact’ and helping us be the best we can be.
