Human Resources Advisor

PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR SPONSORSHIP CANDIDATES.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 am-5.00 pm - 37.5 hours per week.

Location: Cedar Care Head Office, Mortimer House, Clifton Down Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 4AE

Rate of Pay: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (Depending on Experience and Qualifications)

You will be expected to contribute to the overall success of the HR agenda in delivering a proactive and customer-focused HR service across Cedar Care Homes by providing effective support, guidance and advice to managers and staff members on a wide variety of HR matters, such as employee relations, policy and process, recruitment and the delivery of key projects.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Experience interpreting policies, procedures and situations to identify pragmatic solutions/ recommendations.

Experience in advising and supporting managers on a range of employee relations matters to an appropriate conclusion.

Experience in dealing with matters confidentially and sensitively, with a sound knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.

Person Specifications:

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel
Good level of both written and spoken English
Ability to work to deadlines
Good working knowledge of current Employment Law and Human Resource Best Practice.
Maintaining good time management in performing the tasks required and achieving task completion deadlines.
Maintaining a good time keeping and attendance record
Provide assistance and advice in a consistent, balanced and objective way, without favour or prejudice to any party.
Producing notes of meetings in the prescribed format and on time.
Hold a degree or equivalent qualification as Associate Level CIPD qualification.
