Salary – £15,429–£19,286 per annum (based on 20–25 hours per week), equivalent to a full-time salary of £27,000.

Cell2 Limited is a European provider of premium-quality Vehicle Warning Systems for the Emergency Services and Public Utility markets. Our focus is on quality, outstanding service and JIT (Just in Time) delivery to customers. In the last decade, Cell2 has expanded internationally and now operates from two locations: Vigo (Spain) and Aylesbury (UK-Headquarters). Our production facilities are integrated via WMS and ERP Systems allowing for greater efficiency when serving and supporting our customers. The Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day bookkeeping and finance administration of the business, ensuring our financial records are accurate, organised and up to date.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of our finance function. As Cell2 continues to grow, this role offers genuine opportunities to become involved in wider finance activities, reporting and process improvements
Key Responsibilities
· Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers using Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).
· Processing supplier invoices & employee expenses
· Performing bank and credit card reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
· Preparing and actioning supplier payment runs.
· Managing credit control and customer account queries.
· Ensuring accurate and up to date documentation is held for all import shipments receive
· Maintaining accurate vendor, customer and general ledger information in Navision
· Maintaining the asset register and controlling fixed asset values in Navision.
· Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes.
· Preparing information for VAT returns and statutory reporting.
· Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
· Liaising with external accountants, auditors and other finance partners.
· Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and controls.
· Providing general finance and administrative support to the wider business.
· Supporting finance-related projects as the business continues to grow
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, is naturally curious, takes pride in producing accurate work and is keen to develop as our business continues to grow.
An experienced Bookkeeper with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work.
You’ll enjoy working as part of a team, taking ownership of your responsibilities and looking for ways to improve processes.
· AAT qualified (or studying towards AAT) is desirable, although candidates with strong practical bookkeeping experience are equally encouraged to apply
· An excellent understanding of bookkeeping principles and finance processes
· Experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) would be advantageous, although training will be provided for the right candidate
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of formulas, PivotTables, filtering, sorting, lookups and analysing financial data to produce meaningful reports.
· Strong Microsoft Office Skills
· Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
· Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
· The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a small team
· Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers and external partners.
· A positive, flexible attitude and a willingness to support the wide business where needed.
· A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to identify opportunities to improve finance processes and controls.
· The ability to speak Spanish would be an advantage, but it is not essential
