Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. You will be an experienced Sage 200 clerk, with detailed working knowledge of book keeping, credit control, managing purchase & sales ledgers, VAT returns, expenses, invoice finance, and pro-forma customers.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving company by supporting our financial operations with precision and enthusiasm, ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software Sage 200
Process accounts payable by reviewing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to maintain accurate financial records
Maintain organised financial files and documentation for audit readiness
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with attention to detail

Experience

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting support role
Proficiency in Sage 200
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality
