Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Events Manager to lead our sales initiatives and organise a variety of events. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through effective upselling, fostering guest relations, and coordinating memorable events that enhance our organisation’s reputation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, exceptional organisational skills, and a flair for communication.

Duties

Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue across all services and event offerings.
Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or products to maximise guest spend.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee a diverse range of events, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, and vendors to foster repeat business.
Manage booking schedules, organise event logistics, and ensure all aspects of events meet quality standards.
Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming events and special offers.
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Assist in fundraising activities when required, leveraging organisational skills to maximise participation.

Experience

Proven experience in sales management within the hospitality or event planning sectors.
Previous experience working in restaurants, hotels, or similar venues is highly desirable.
Strong background in guest services and hospitality environments.
Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase revenue streams.
Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Experience in organising large-scale events or fundraisers is advantageous but not essential. This role offers an engaging environment where your organisational talent and sales expertise will directly contribute to our organisation’s success. Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
