We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Women’s Football Coach to lead and develop our growing football programme. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a high-quality student-athlete experience, competing in top level leagues and competitions while supporting players’ development both on and off the pitch.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions aligned with FA principles
Lead the team in fixtures, competitions, and tournaments
Support player development, performance, and wellbeing
Identify and recruit talented players through trials and partnerships
Monitor attendance, behaviour, and academic progress of student-athletes
Organise fixtures, training schedules, and programme logistics
Promote the programme through open days, events, and community engagement
Ensure safeguarding, equality, and inclusion are embedded in all activities
Support on academic programmes
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
FA in Coaching Football (UEFA B Licence) or above or working towards
Level 3 qualification in sport coaching, sports science or equivalent
Experience coaching female footballers (16–19 age group preferred)
Safeguarding (FA Safeguarding Children workshop)
FA Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF)
Experience working in education, academy, or community football setting
Desirable
Experience in AoC Sport, JPL, RTC, or academy environments
Knowledge of England Talent Pathway (ETP)
Experience with video analysis tools
Strength & Conditioning / sport science background
