Community Care Assistant (Drivers Only)

Locations: North Leeds (Covering LS19 & LS20 postcodes — Yeadon, Rawdon, Guiseley)

Job Type: Full-Time Only

Shift Pattern: Split shifts: 07:00 – 14:00 & 16:00 – 22:00

CRITICAL APPLICATION CRITERION: Drivers ONLY: You MUST possess a valid UK Driving Licence and have daily access to your own reliable vehicle for community travel. Non-drivers cannot be considered.

NO SPONSORSHIP: We are STRICTLY UNABLE to offer Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), Tier 2 Care Visas, or visa switching for this post. Applicants must already hold a permanent, unrestricted legal right to work in the UK.

The Rota Structure (2-Week Rolling Pattern)

Enjoy a highly structured full-time pattern that ensures you know exactly when you are working and when you have guaranteed days off:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday (07:00–14:00 & 16:00–22:00)
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (07:00–14:00 & 16:00–22:00)
This rolling system ensures you get every second weekend completely off!

Main Duties

As a Community Care Assistant, you will deliver personal, practical, and emotional support to promote independence and choice for our clients.

Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, showering, dressing, undressing, and dignified toileting support.
Clinical Assistance: Helping with prescribed medication management and safely applying ointments, lotions, or eye/ear drops.
Living Support: Preparing nutritious meals, collecting prescriptions, running essential shopping errands, and helping with light domestic tasks (laundry, vacuuming, dusting).
Mobility & Safety: Utilizing manual handling and safer handling equipment safely as outlined in personalized care plans.
Record Keeping: Maintaining immaculate, accurate, and up-to-date digital or written daily care logs.

Requirements

Logistics: Full UK Driving Licence and your own car (Mandatory).
Right to Work: Permanent legal right to work in the UK without restriction (No CoS or Visa Switch available).
Location: Based within or right next to the LS19 / LS20 postcodes to ensure reliable shift attendance.
