Powerhouse Hire & Production Services is one of London’s fastest-growing event production companies, delivering high-end corporate events, luxury weddings, conferences, award ceremonies and bespoke live productions across London and the UK.
We’re looking for an exceptional Production Operations Manager to lead the operational delivery of our events and help shape the next stage of our growth.

Working directly with the Managing Director, you’ll have genuine autonomy and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of the business.
The Role
As Production Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every production is properly planned, correctly staffed and delivered to the highest possible standard.
You’ll become the central point between our sales team, warehouse, technicians, freelance crew and Site Project Managers, ensuring every event runs smoothly from the moment it is confirmed through to successful completion.
This is a fast-paced leadership role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning labour and allocating crews across multiple productions.
- Managing employed staff and freelance technicians.
- Recruiting, onboarding and developing operational staff.
- Creating structured training and development programmes.
- Coordinating production logistics and staffing.
- Ensuring all operational paperwork and project information is accurate and complete.
- Monitoring operational quality and implementing continuous improvements.
- Building strong relationships with our operational team and freelancers.
- Working closely with the Managing Director to support the continued growth of the business.
The Systems You’ll Work With
We’ve invested heavily in modern systems that allow our team to work efficiently and collaboratively.
You’ll work with:
- Current RMS (OnRent)
- Connecteam
- HubSpot CRM
- Xero
- Microsoft 365
Previous experience with these systems is an advantage, but not essential.

Essential Experience
- Experience managing operations, production or projects.
- Experience leading teams.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Experience within live events, production, exhibitions, conferences, theatre or a similar environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
