Solar Power NI is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Solar Installer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, testing, and maintenance of solar PV systems, battery storage, and associated electrical components, ensuring all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems, battery storage, and electrical components across residential and commercial sites
- Carry out electrical wiring, connections, and system commissioning
- Ensure all installations comply with current electrical regulations and safety standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults during installation and testing
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system designs
- Work with hand tools and power tools to assemble and secure equipment
- Assist with site preparation, including basic groundwork when required
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard
Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical installation, ideally within solar or renewable energy
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols
- Relevant electrical qualifications (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with solar PV systems, battery storage, or EV chargers is advantageous
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Full driving licence (preferred)
