Sales Office Team Member - Westbury
Pipes and Valves Ltd started trading in 2006 from our head office in Watford, we opened our Westbury branch in 2018. We supply industrial pipes, valves and ancillary products to maintenance engineers in a range of industries including hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and universities and also work with commercial and domestic customers from our Westbury site where we also have a trade counter which is open to the public.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Westbury team in this varied role in our Sales office, ideally with experience of commercial and industrial sales. Salary will vary dependant on age and experience.
Job Purpose Summary
To respond to sales enquiries providing quotations, converting these to orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure stock obligations are met. Primarily working from the sales office, as part of a small team there will also be a need to provide some cover in other areas of the business, such as the trade counter and warehouse at times.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Office
· Process customer enquiries and orders (received by phone / email / via trade counter)
· Coordinate and support all other aspects of the sales office process
· Take ownership of customers problems through to resolution
· Support external sales representatives
· Process supplier orders
· Monitor and oversee all orders to maintain timescales and ensure deadlines are met
Role Requirements
While experience is not necessary you should:
· Have good communication skills both verbal and written
· Have good problem-solving abilities
· Have good computer skills
· Be organised and have attention to detail
· Be physically fit
· Plumbing product knowledge an advantage
· £27-32k
Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
