Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Labourer to join our dynamic team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various outdoor and construction projects, helping to maintain and improve landscapes, infrastructure, and facilities. As a key team member, you will perform a wide range of physical tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy hands-on work, this position is perfect for you! All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance of valuing every team member’s contribution.

Duties

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and gardening to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators for construction and landscaping projects
Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
Perform general site cleanup, material handling, and debris removal to maintain a safe and organized work environment
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including moving materials and assisting skilled tradespeople
Follow safety protocols diligently while working with machinery like excavators or power tools to prevent accidents

Requirements

Prior experience in construction, landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with operating equipment such as excavators or power tools is a plus
Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks
Knowledge of irrigation systems or landscape maintenance techniques is advantageous
Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labour in all weather conditions
Basic understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and outdoor work environments
A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to learn new skills
