We're an innovative, forward-thinking company with continued steady growth serving residential, hospitality, education, commercial and healthcare sectors with offices in Northern Ireland, London, Birmingham, Glasgow and the Republic of Ireland.

We are seeking a General Operative based in Banbridge to be part of our growing team.

| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

Assist fabrication operatives with the preparation of steel and pipework, including cutting, measuring, and material handling
Support workshop activities to ensure smooth and efficient production processes
Operate a variety of workshop machinery and equipment (onsite training provided)
Handle, move, and store materials safely within the workshop environment
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area in line with company standards
Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe and productive workshop environment
Work collaboratively as part of the fabrication team to meet production targets and deadlines
Follow instructions from supervisors and senior operatives to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
Undertake any other duties, within reason and capability, as directed by the Production Supervisor

| QUALIFICATION |

Desirable

Forklift Licence

| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |

Essential

Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, or construction environment
Basic understanding of hand and power tools
Awareness of Health and Safety practices within a workshop environment

Desirable

Previous experience working with stainless steel pipework

| ABILITIES & SKILLS |
Essential

Able to work effectively on own initiative as well as under supervision.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced workshop environment
Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to work
Comfortable performing a range of manual handling duties within a workshop environment
Willingness to learn and develop new skills within a fabrication environment
