Delivery & Installation Technician – Gym Equipment

Location: Rugby (NN6 6JU)
Company: FitKit UK Ltd
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,420 (training) rising to £32,500 after successful completion of training
Plus enhancements for weekends, bank holidays & nights away + company pension

About the Role

FitKit UK Ltd is one of the UK’s leading gym equipment installation companies, working with major fitness equipment manufacturers across the Leisure, Education and Home sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit 4-6 Delivery & Installation Technicians to join our expanding team.

This is a hands-on, physically active role delivering and installing gym and fitness equipment at sites across the UK. You will work in teams ranging from small two-person crews to larger project teams of up to 10 people on major installations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and install gym and fitness equipment nationwide
Safely lift and move heavy equipment
Load and unload vehicles
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Work as part of a team to complete installations to a high standard
Provide excellent customer service on site
Follow all health and safety procedures
Represent FitKit UK professionally at customer locations

What We’re Looking For

You should be:

Mechanically minded with a “can-do” attitude
Experienced using hand and power tools (minimum 2 years)
Physically fit and comfortable with daily heavy lifting
A strong team player with good communication skills
Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented
Willing to work away from home (average 2 nights per week)
Comfortable driving long distances in vans

An interest in fitness or gym equipment is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours & Travel

Early starts between 5:00–6:00am to reach site for 8:00am
Meeting point: NN6 6JU (Rugby) – you must have your own transport to reach the warehouse
No fixed finish times – hours depend on project completion
Contracted minimum: 45 hours per week
Any hours worked over 45 hours are paid at your normal hourly rate

Due to the nature of the role, this position is not suitable for candidates who require fixed finishing times.

Salary & Benefits

£30,420 per annum (training period)
£32,500 per annum after successful training completion
Additional pay for:
Saturdays
Sundays
Bank Holidays
Nights away from home
Company pension scheme

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence (held for minimum 2 years)
Minimum 2 years’ experience using hand and power tools
Own vehicle for early morning starts
Willingness to travel and stay away overnight

Location Requirement

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Rugby (NN6 6JU) or be willing to relocate before starting work.
