Dunchurch Pools is an inland waterways marina set on parkland in the Warwickshire countryside close to Dunchurch and Rugby.
We have a temporary opportunity for a team player, highly motivated with a keen can do attitude and able to do a physical and demanding job. Reporting to the Head Maintenance and Grounds Keeper, you will be able to follow instructions, work as part of a team or on your own, be flexible and adaptable to changes. Must enjoy working outside even when a little moist!
Duties will include:
- Grass cutting using a ride on mower, strimming and hedge cutting
- General maintenance of shrub beds and hedges and weed control
- Watering and mulching
- Planting, weeding, thinning and general maintenance
- Dressing and enhancement of grounds
- Digging holes
- Weed control of Roads / Paths / Parkland
- Litter picking
- Repairing damaged jetties
- Repairing roads and paths
- Fencing / Painting
- Replacing faulty light bulbs
- Helping with new projects and upgrades in and around the marina
- Possibility of boat yard duties hoisting / chocking and painting
