Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair within a professional environment. The role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills and pursue a career in the electrical trade. The Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining practical knowledge and industry insight while contributing to various electrical projects. Duties

Assist senior electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wire strippers to perform basic electrical tasks.
Operate power tools including drills, saws, and voltage testers safely and effectively.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and wiring schedules to support project execution.
Support in troubleshooting electrical faults and performing routine inspections to ensure safety compliance.
Prepare work sites by organising materials and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
Learn about electrical codes, regulations, and best practices through on-the-job training.

Skills

Basic proficiency with hand tools used in electrical work.
Familiarity with power tools such as drills, saws, and testing equipment is advantageous.
Previous electrical experience or coursework related to the trade is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is a must.
