Trade Counter Sales Person- Bangor - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Join a Leading Timber & Builders’ Merchant

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a Trade Counter Sales Person to join our team for a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that values its people and offers a stable role with consistent hours and a supportive working environment.

Location

This role is based at our Bangor Branch.

What you'll be doing

No two days the same, and every day matters.

In this role you'll serve trade and retail customers at the counter, advising on products and maximising profitable sales.

You'll be the trusted face of Haldane Group, helping customers get exactly what they need. Your main duties will include:

Serve customers quickly and helpfully.
Advise on products and availability.
Process sales, quotes and orders accurately.
Maximise add-ons and margin.
Maintain merchandising and stock.

We'd love to hear from you if you have/are:

Customer service / sales aptitude.
Willingness to learn products.
Helpful, customer-focused manner.
A genuine pride in your work, and a way of working that reflects a helpful, customer-focused, can-do attitude.
Building-products knowledge. (Desirable but not Essential, we support eligible colleagues in the journey of training and accredited qualifications)
