Job Overview *Part-time Dental Receptionist*

*6 weeks paid holiday to include Easter week, July week & Christmas week*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate receptionist to join our dynamic team. We are a private, independent clinic based in South Belfast. The ideal candidate should have a current GDC Registration however this is not essential. They will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and maintaining the smooth running of the front reception. The candidate will be required to have strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a professional approach to our patients.

Practice opening hours are Monday - Thursday 9.00am to 5.30pm, Friday 9.00am - 1.00pm

Hours will be for 3 days per week to include Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.00am – 5.30pm.

Salary will be £14 - £15 per hour, based on experience.

Duties

Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage appointment schedules and coordinate patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.

Essential Criteria

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
A genuine passion for patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
