Description

The Registered Manager is the most senior nurse within the home and is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of all departments. The Manager contributes significantly to the stability of the home and the delivery of safe and effective care. They set a high standard for leadership and management across the home, promoting key values in their team and enabling care which aims to meet the expectation of residents and those important to them.

The Manager collaborates to oversee the services operation, supporting staff in their roles promoting high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to decisions that guide the ongoing development and sustainability of the home.

Essential criteria:

· The candidate must have experience in assessing care requirements and creating person centred care plans. The candidate must also have good communication skills and a solid understanding of Nursing Home Standards. The candidate must hold a current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and have a legal right to work in the UK. The candidate must adhere to the ethics and Mission Statement of the Organisation. The candidate must adhere to their Staff Handbook and organisational policies and procedures.

· Nursing Degree/Diploma and at least one year experience (continuous service) as a Registered Manager of a Care Home.

Desirable Criteria:

· Professional management qualification.

Pay: £48,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
