Job Summary

Monday to Friday 11.30am to 3.30pm

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Waitress/Waiter Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic hospitality environment, providing memorable experiences for our guests. Previous barista experience and knowledge of food safety are highly valued, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders with professionalism and enthusiasm
Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to quality standards
Serve food items promptly and accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including counters and tables
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and process payments efficiently
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels throughout shifts
Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries promptly and courteously
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the establishment

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety procedures is desirable
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Ability to work well as part of a team with a positive attitude
