Contract: Healthcare

Location: Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton - SM2 5PT

Hours of work: 20

Working Pattern: A variety of working patterns and shifts are available

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £15.36

Do you want to join a fantastic catering team? Are you passionate about creating great food and delivering the best service?

As a Catering Assistant with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and will play a key role in our catering operation, assisting with the preparation and service of food while keeping an excellent standard of cleanliness and safety.

The Role

Deliver a warm welcome and excellent customer service to guests, colleagues, and clients
Act as a site ambassador, confidently promoting workplace facilities, dining services, and activities
Build positive relationships and create a friendly, professional atmosphere
Assist with the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages to company standards
Ensure service areas are well-stocked, clean, and ready throughout service periods
Handle customer transactions accurately and follow cash handling procedures where required
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across all work areas

About You

Enthusiastic and positive approach to work
Catering experience is preferred, but a positive, can-do attitude is essential
Good understanding of the principles of food hygiene
Able to follow instructions, while also using initiative to make appropriate decisions in the best interests of the customer
Customer-focused, ensuring every customer has an excellent experience
A determined team player who works well with others
