Hello we are a domestic and commercial heating company who work out from our office based in Fenton. As HVAC Engrs we cover domestic and commercial dwellings installing, maintaining all Gas, oil and electrical equipment that serves hot water and heating along side cooling.
We have been using sub contractors for over 15 years for our air conditioning and heat pumps plus any other associated works. It has now come to a point that I’d like to start our own electrical department so I am after someone who wants to lead this.
We are a close knit company and with my own experience of team building and work from the Royal Engineers I feel it’s key to have the team feel at work . We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team and want to help his/her colleagues around them. Someone who feels passionate about their work, honeat,has pride in what they do, how they maintain their van and equipment, wants to go to work earn their crust and back home to family.
We mainly cover around Staffs but we do have contrac work around the UK on occasion. But majority of the time work is local and back home for 1715 as an average.
Pay is dependent on experience but over time paid along with any extra Saturdays.

We are a small company of 7 but we have a lot of healthy business coming through that has been won on the back of the hard work of the company. I want you to come in and keep building our solid reputation. We have numerous care homes, hotels , industrial facilities, Shops plus over 5000 domestic customers on our books so you need to be diverse with the areas. Ie domestic and commercial , this is key to the job application. As one day could be working in a house to the next in a Carehome or hospice.
Given your experience, I’d expect you to have one equipment for working in these environment. Megatester etc etc.

Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and building codes
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical tasks efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and optimize performance
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to guide installation and repairs
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Document all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs accurately in logs and reports
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within scope
Requirements
- Proven experience working with electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings
- Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring practices, and safety procedures
- Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics clearly
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Physical ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and handle heavy equipment as needed
- Level 3 NVQ and AM2
- 18th edition and inspecting and testing
- QS would be hugely beneficial for company NICEIC or Napit
