Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile and skilled Plumber/Multi Skilled Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks across plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and general maintenance projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a broad skill set to contribute to diverse projects in commercial and industrial settings. The position involves hands-on work requiring physical endurance, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools
Fitting Bathrooms/Kitchens/Cladding etc
Conducting mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on equipment and infrastructure
Performing carpentry tasks including assembly, fitting, and finishing work
Utilising basic maths for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
Heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Assisting with general maintenance tasks across multiple sites to ensure operational efficiency
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during project execution

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance roles
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
Mechanical knowledge relevant to industrial or commercial environments
Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks requiring stamina and strength
Valid driving licence
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
Basic understanding of safety procedures related to construction or maintenance work
