Full job description

Oak Hill College is entering a critical phase of renewal across the College estate, requiring an energetic leader who commands high standards, optimises workflows, and brings a focus on operational excellence to our delivery.

As Head of Estates and Facilities, you will take the reins of our day-to-day operations, translating a comprehensive site condition survey into a highly disciplined, prioritised programme of works. We are looking for a forthright, pioneering and motivational leader who demands the best from their team but delivers it through a deep commitment to our values: humble, collaborative, innovative, trustworthy, and gracious. If you know how to instil accountability, maximise daily productivity, and mentor the next generation of estates talent, this is your opportunity to shape our future.

Oak Hill exists to see the church flourish. Our full-time and part-time courses are designed to sustain a lifetime of faithful and joyful service in Christian ministry. We train around 100 students each year on our accredited programmes, with the majority being mature students.

The Head of Estates and Facilities is a pioneering leadership role, responsible for the management, improvement and delivery of all estates and site operations across the College.

The postholder will ensure that buildings (both domestic and commercial), grounds, infrastructure, plant, and equipment are maintained to a high standard, compliant with statutory requirements, and fully fit for purpose in supporting the College's operational and educational needs.

A key element of the role is translating a comprehensive site condition survey into a prioritised, costed, and time-bound programme of works, ensuring implementation that improves long-term asset sustainability. You will optimise existing infrastructure, drive environmental efficiencies, and systematically build commercial revenue to self-fund future estate improvements.
