Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of mobile equipment and machinery across multiple locations. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and a strong understanding of mechanical systems. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on technical expertise to contribute to the smooth operation of our mobile assets while working in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on mobile equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques, then perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs, adjustments, and installations.
Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Travel between various sites to perform scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs as required.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for each piece of equipment.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
Experience with power tools relevant to maintenance and repair tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, demonstrating physical strength and endurance.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documenting work performed.
Flexibility to travel between multiple locations as needed.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and report on technical issues.
