Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Toolmaker to join our manufacturing team. This role would suit a skilled and experienced Toolmaker who thrives in a hands-on engineering environment. It’s ideal for individuals with great attention to detail, a passion for precision work and a strive to produce great quality tools in a fast-paced environment. Someone looking for a long-term role within a supportive and progressive team will find this an excellent opportunity.

Duties

Programmng, Setting and Operate CNC milling machinery (Heidenhein and Fanuc languages)
Assemble, repair and maintain tools in line with technical drawings and specifications.
Use precision instruments including micrometers and vernier callipers to ensure dimensional accuracy
Diagnose issues and perform repairs or modifications to optimise tool performance
Collaborate with the wider team to support production efficiency and resolve breakdowns
Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
Be able to work well on there own as well as part of a team.
Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
Professional and self-motivated attitude.
Good organisational & time management skills.

Benefits

4 Day working week - Mon-Thurs 7.30am till 5.30pm
Overtime is often available: Mon-Thurs 7:00am-7:30am, 5:30am-6:00pm, Fri: 8.00am-12:00pm
Competitive hourly rate with annual pay reviews
28 days annual leave including bank holidays
An Extra Day per year is awarded to a maximum of 5 days.
Pension scheme (3% employer, 5% employee contributions)
