Job Title: Experienced Roof Truss Designer

Job Type: Full-time, Office

About Us:

Fencehouse Timber Engineering is a rapidly growing company offering the design, manufacture and delivery of timber engineered products to clients within the construction sector. Our team is pivotal to our success and maintaining our reputation for delivering high class products along with first class service. Due to our success, we are expanding, and are therefore currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roof Truss Designer to join our team.

Position Overview:

As an Experienced Roof Truss Designer at Fencehouse Timber Engineering. you will play a crucial role in creating efficient and creative roof truss and floor joist design solutions for various clients.

Responsibilities:

Design roof and metal web floor structures from technical drawings

Liaise with the sales team to produce accurate and efficient estimates and quotations

Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and constraints.

Produce material schedules and manufacturing output

Generate detailed drawings and documentation for construction teams.

Provide technical support and expertise to resolve design-related issues during the construction phase.

What are we looking for?

Proven experience as a Roof Truss Designer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

Proficient in industry-standard design software (e.g., MiTek, Gan-Nail, Wolf etc.). Experience with Gang-Nail would be highly advantageous.

In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction materials.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Highly competitive salary (Negotiable depending on experience) on offer for the right candidate.
