Full job description

We are looking for hard working individuals that are enthusiastic and enjoy a challenge to join our team within the frozen warehouse team in Darton, Barnsley.

Someone who have strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work as part of a team to ensure all hygiene tasks are completed efficiently. Previous experience maybe useful, however full training will be given.

Details of location and shift pattern:

Hours: 20 hours per week working Monday to Friday 11.30am to 15:30pm

Rate of Pay: £12.75 per hour, paid on a four weekly basis

Location: Darton, Barnsley S75 5NH

Requirements

Accountabilities and responsibilities:

Carry out cleaning work to the required standard and as instructed by your line manager
Use cleaning materials appropriately and economically and in line with COSHH
Inform your line manager when stocks are low

Work quickly and efficiently
Ability to work in Cold Store (up to -20degrees) environment.
Cover any aspects/roles within hygiene department for absence or excessive workload deemed appropriate by CSL management

Operate the automatic cardboard bailer
Operate mechanical cleaning equipment as trained and required
Use the correct version controlled documentation and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately, completely and timely
Ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures are always followed and encouraging colleagues to do the same
Active reporting of Health and Safety near misses and encouraging colleagues to do the same
Build working relationships with other departments
