Full job description

For over 20 years we have been providing high quality support, meeting individual’s needs, in a safe, supportive and homely environment. Using our knowledge and resources to meet the highest standards whilst promoting independence and recovery.

We are looking for individuals to join our friendly team at Beckcare homes. We require people who are honest, reliable, hardworking and organised. Experience is preferred alongside our in house training. The applicant will help support individuals to live as independently as possible.

Duties vary depending on the needs and wishes of the individual. You will need to offer support for the individual’s overall comfort and wellbeing and help people whom need support to live as independently as possible. Helping with food preparation and cooking, keeping a habitable home, assist with social interaction and help with budgeting. You will be providing interesting activities to stimulate and engage the service user. There is an element of paperwork involved within the role as you will have to record client notes and liaise with their worker, so some basic computer skills required. The successful applicant should be able to work alongside others as well as independently and be flexible with tasks.

Position working in Barnstaple. Day shifts available, 12 hours shifts 3 days on 3 days off, but hours can be discussed at interview.
