Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Private Client Fee Earner to join our legal team either in our Barnstaple or Tiverton office. A good level of experience and being able to manage a caseload with minimal supervision is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a diverse private client caseload independently
Drafting Wills and providing estate planning advice
Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
Advising on Probate and Estate Administration matters
Assisting clients with Trust creation and administration
Providing clear, practical, and professional legal advice
Maintaining excellent client relationships and standards of client care
Working collaboratively with colleagues while managing your own caseload effectively
Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements

Experience

Proven experience as a Private Client Fee Earner within a legal environment.
Demonstrate expertise in handling wills, probate, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning cases.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous terms for clients.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under pressure.
Outstanding communication and client care abilities
Knowledge of current legislation affecting private client work is essential.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
