A new role of CAD Design Technician based in our Barrow-in-Furness Fitted Interior showroom a short drive from the beautiful Lake District. Looking for a creative individual, with experience of Kitchen/Bedroom design to join the team . You will be a creative force in designing beautiful, functional kitchen layouts using advanced CAD software Winner. Your expertise will help customers visualise their dream Kitchens/Bedrooms while providing service and technical support. Using your design skills to create designs that flows beautifully while fulfilling the customer brief. This is an opportunity to work alongside this well established independent Fitted Interior business with a wealth of knowledge in the industry. Showroom based, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate and visually appealing kitchen/bedroom designs using Winner CAD software and other design tools.
- Being able to highlight features and benefits that align with customer desires.
- Communicate clearly with team members and suppliers, to ensure the project runs smoothly and to the agreed timeline.
- Maintain organised records of designs, customer interactions, and project details to ensure efficient workflow using TruBlue.
- Working with customers briefs initially to understand their needs, preferences, and space requirements.
- Checking all goods arrive for each project before the starting date.
- To be Showroom based.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in Kitchen Design CAD software, preferably Winner.
- At least 3 years experience.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey design ideas and technical information.
- Proficient in the English language.
- Excellent spatial awareness.
- Interior Design flair.
- Good maths skills for measurements, scaling, and calculations involved in design work.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Technical Knowledge of Kitchen furniture ranges, appliances and accessories
- Friendly nature with ability to communicate with clients, installation team and suppliers.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Driving license.

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
